The National Hotel Complex is an hour and a half's drive from Melbourne and just 1.5km from Bendigo town centre, directly opposite the Central Deborah Gold Mine and Bendigo Talking Tram Tours. It's the perfect place to base yourself while you explore the many wonderful attractions of the Bendigo region.

The National Bistro has an extensive menu that provides something for everyone from vegetarian to gluten free options as well as your classic pub dishes and gourmet choices. It is a wonderful place to meet up with family, friends or colleagues in a relaxed atmosphere for a lunch or dinner.
The National is open 7 days a week for meals from 12 noon and has a great children’s menu to choose from. The National Bistro has seating for up 150 people, so whether you are after a quiet dinner for two or a family get together we can cater for you. Our bistro is well appointed, modern and spacious.
Our menu uses a variety of foods from around the Bendigo region and we offer a wonderful wine list showcasing many of our regions finest wines. There is a wonderful lunch special in the bistro Monday-Friday from 12 – 2pm. Plus plenty of parking and wheel chair access.
